Sewing is my oldest hobby…

I learned to sew when I was young, and I’ve loved it since. I even have a sewing machine in my dorm! Here are some of the projects I have completed from scratch. I also do a lot of alterations, and my current project is a puff quilt twin-sized comforter. I love sewing because it is a hobby that forces me to slow down. It teaches the importance of patience and pre-planning, especially as I move into making my own patterns. I especially like that it is a practical hobby and that it requires me to gradually build upon my technical skill in the area.
